When I picked Jack up a week or so later to take him home I learned that Jackson was horribly abused. He was confiscated by animal control for suspicion of use in dog fighting as a bait puppy.

For the last nine years I have had the most faithful companion. He rescued me the same month my Nana passed away.

This morning I was reading a post from my Brand Coach and Co-Founder of Root + River, Justin Foster. He said, “Injustice in our country must be addressed. It begins, as all deep work does, by looking inward.”
